A directory of real Australian photographers.
PhotoSale connects people who need a photographer or a photo with the people in Australia who actually take them. No AI generators, no overseas stock libraries pretending to be local, no anonymous uploaders.
What we do
We list working photographers by city and by category. Each photographer has a profile, a portfolio, and the rates or licence options they offer. Buyers can browse prints, license photos for editorial or commercial use, or send an enquiry to hire someone for a shoot.
We do not sit between the photographer and the customer once an enquiry is made. Replies go straight back to the photographer's own inbox. Payment for hire work is between the two parties. Print and licence transactions on the platform run through our checkout.
Why Australian only
A local photographer knows the light, the laws, the access rules for the national parks, the cultural protocols for protected sites, and the difference between Cottesloe in summer and Cottesloe in June. A generic stock image does not. We think local photos work better for local buyers, and we think local photographers deserve the work.
What we do not accept
- AI-generated or AI-manipulated images.
- Photos the submitter did not take.
- Identifiable photos of minors.
- Photos taken in breach of access rules, cultural protocols, or privacy law.
